I'm making a move for mental health!
I have decided to take part in this challenge to raise funds for ReachOut to provide young people with the support they need to be happy and well.
During lockdown, I found it very difficult to improve my mental health as I constantly drowned myself with negative thoughts. However, staying active made me feel good and energised and definitely reminded me of the beautiful things in life as I embraced the nature around me during walks with my family.
For this challenge, I will dedicate 45 minutes for the prevention of young suicide and to also improve my mental health.
What will I do to make a move this October and BOOST my mood up?!
- exercise; biking, walking, weight training, jump rope
- activities that make me feel better; reading and playing instruments!
