As an adult who has survived youth suicide I'm here to say,

'Het the help you require'

I stumbled throughout life thinking that asking for help was an inconvenience to anyone I asked. I later learner,people can't help if you don't ask for help

We would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of Country throughout Australia. We are committed to honouring their cultural and spiritual connections to the land, waters and seas on which we live, meet and move. We pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and to Elders past, present and future as well as to those who are making a move with us. We recognise connection to Country as integral to health and wellbeing. It always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.

We also acknowledge the individual and collective contributions of those with a lived and living experience of mental ill-health and suicide, and those who love, have loved and care for them. Your voice is vital in the work that Make a Move and ReachOut does.
